Inspire Investment Corporation announces the establishment of Okiden C plus C Corporation (“CPC”) as a joint venture with The Okinawa Electric Power Company, Incorporated and Japan Integration Co., Ltd., with a purpose of commercializing Mimamori Service, which utilizes cutting-edge IT technology, and the start of their PoC.

In recent years, there has been a growing need for safety and security due to changes in the social environment such as an increased number of elderly people living alone. CPC sought a way to solve such needs and issues, and in the fiscal year of 2021, they will conduct a PoC (Proof of concept) in cooperation with the local government in addition to their system development, aiming at commercializing Mimamori (caring family monitor) service that uses Origin Wireless’ Wi-Fi devices incorporating AI detection functionality, which can analyze and evaluate the reflected Wi-Fi signals to understand people’s indoor and sleeping respiratory activity by using their sensing technology.
