Gigi Inc. is a food tech company who provides meal delivery services to show appreciation and support such as GOCHIMESHI, SAKIMESHI, and BIZ MESHI. Pocket Marche, an investee of PIEF, teams up with Gigi to start a PoC (Proof of Concept) for developing a system that enables customers to purchase ingredients delivered directly from producers through BIZ MESHI  which is a service that employee can use restaurant as a company’s canteen. Main purpose of this service is to support producers whose sales channels have reduced due to the spread of COVID-19 through purchasing food ingredients as canteen meals during telework.

As a result of this alliance, customers, using their company’s account, can order food ingredients on Pocket Marche’s service, such as vegetables, meat and fish, which are delivered directly to the homes of  employees who are teleworking. In this way companies that are using BIZ MESHI cover the cost  of the Ingredients and shipping. The PoC will begin on 1st July 2021, aiming to have 3,000 users by 2022.
