Okiden C Plus C (“CPC”), an investee of Inspire Investment Corporation, Okinawa-city, Ginowan-city, and Tomigusuku-city have concluded the agreement under which the four parties will work closely together and cooperate to conduct a pilot project explosive expansion of the aging demographic to solve social issues including a growing need for larger workforce to care for the elderly by local governments as well as an increase in the time and economic burden on families living with the elderly, contributing to build a society filled with energy and smiles of people.

The rapid growth of the aging population and the shortage of young workers have become social issues. In Okinawa prefecture, the number of single elderly households has exceeded the national average, which causes concerns for families who live apart and increases the burden on community support. The new Mimamori (caring family monitor) proposed by CPC utilizes the cutting-edge technology, Wi-Fi sensing + AI to provide the unprecedented next-gen Mimamori, always looking after the elderly with care across the whole region, which could not be realized by the conventional methods that require in-person visits.
