Conclusion of Memorandum of Understanding for the Commercialization of Next-gen Mimamori Service

Okiden C Plus C Corporation (“CPC”), an investee of Inspire Investment Corporation, and Origin Wireless, Inc. (“Origin”), an investee of PIEF, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to commercialize the Next-generation Mimamori (caring family monitor) service that incorporates Origin’s WirelessAI™️ technology.

Origin’s WirelessAI™️ is a Wi-Fi sensing technology that uses easy-to-install Wi-Fi signals to monitor the environment in place of physical sensors, without the use of privacy-critical image sensors, cameras, or wearables that require frequent recharging. Origin will provide WirelessAI™️ technology to CPC as a platform that can be used through APIs, enabling CPC to freely develop flexible and expandable services based on WirelessAI™️ technology.

CPC will use its own AI to analyze the activity and sleep status data of residents obtained with WirelessAI™️ technology, as well as lifestyle information data obtained from smart meters and other sources, to create an unprecedented Next-generation Mimamori service that will contribute to a life filled with energy and smiles for customers.

Dr. Ray Liu, founder and CEO of Origin Wireless, Inc., commented as follows – We look forward to cooperating with CPC in the commercialization of the Next-generation Mimamori service to enrich the lives of Japanese people through the services it provides.  We will actively open up our WirelessAI™️ technology through APIs, which will enable us to contribute not only to Mimamori but also to various future services of CPC.
