Bodygram Provides AI-powered Body Measurement Technology for DioClinic, a Medical Slimming Clinic

Bodygram Japan, a subsidiary of Bodygram Inc., an investee of Inspire Investment Corporation, announces the adoption of Bodygram’s AI-powered body measurement technology at the DioClinic Ginza-in, which is run by  General Incorporated Association Shokeikai, starting at the end of April, 2022. This is the first entry into the medical slimming industry.

The measurement of body parts before and after the treatment, which conventionally has been done manually by using a tape measure, is digitized through the Bodygram, reducing the workload of the on-site staff. The app also automatically generates 3D avatars for body tracking, so users can visually and intuitively view the difference between their before and after treatments.

<Advantages of Bodygram’s Technology>
・Using a smartphone or a tablet, users only need to take two photos of their whole body including 24 points to accurately measure the body size.
・The 3D avatar enables the user to see a more accurate view of the shape of their body.
・The product is available at a lower cost than traditional anthropometric and 3D body scanning technologies.
・There is no actual initial installation fee or a dedicated large scanning device required.

DioClinic Ginza-in will have more than 500 customers in the first year, and the aim is to expand the service to all DioClinic sites in the future.
