Bodygram embedded into QOLism, promoting better health for members of a health insurance union

Bodygram Inc., an investee of Inspire Investment Corporation, announced an adaptation of its AI body measuring technology Bodygram into QOLism, a health promotion app provided by QOLead, Limited., a 100% owned subsidiary of Dai-ichi Life Holdings, Inc. The technology enables QOLism to estimate 25 body measurements by importing 2 photos taken with a smartphone. QOLism is defined as a  Health Promotion App by Healstep℠,  a service to reduce medical expenses provided by QOLead Co., Ltd. to the health insurance union.

“We are pleased to partner and support QOLead, a revolutionizer to the healthcare industry in Japan. As it is known across the world that it is important for a company to ensure its employees’ health through investment in its wellness programs, it has become an increasingly vital social issue in Japan. In fact, an article(*) from a Harvard study shows that return on investment of every $1 company spends on each employee’s wellness, the health care costs would decrease by $3.27, as well as absence-related costs by a few dollars. I believe that QOLead’s innovation will contribute to Japanese people having more value in their lives.” said Rei Aiba, COO, Bodygram Inc.
